A new generation for the well known 2K model introduced last season, developed by MFC, Keith Teboul, and Kauli Seadi. This 2008 model has a new lay-up with 200gr of S-glass polyester prepreg to give smooth torsion throughout the fin. This is the preferred model of Victor Fernandez. Ideal for all around conditions, it excels particularly well in side shore and side-on shore wave sailing conditions.

The new side shore fin design by Pio Marasco in collaboration wit the wave world champion and most radical windsurfer in the world, Francisco Goya.
This is the first time MFC introduce a new concept of foil section called DMS (draft-moving-system). The DRAFT (maximum thickness of the fin) is usually around 30% of the length of the cord, but we try to move it to give more speed and control to the fin; in this model we have in the first 13cm of length the draft at 30% to allow the board an easy planning, lift and control, but slowly going down to the tip the draft is moving to 50% to give more control and reducing the drag at Hi-Speed.
We found this is the solution to allow your board to have faster response during your hardcore carving in your surfing, and to reach a superior speed for jumping, and Francisco is using this combination since 1 year already with his boards.
As usual MFC is always working to achieve the goal of the best fin on the market with new ideas and new materials, and again…it looks like we made it!!! |

The straight outline allows for very early planning and radical upwind ability, but the fin is incredibly manoeuvrable due to its narrow outline and cord. The profile is the fastest, generated by our SL model and adapted to this wave model. Ideal for all around wave conditions can be use also for freewave conditions.

| MFC San Carlos Weed |
The Maui Fin San Carlos weed was developed in Punta San Carlos, Baja California. The fin has been designed for wave sailing in conditions where there is seaweed. The initial curve on the leading edge allows the seaweed to slide instead of getting caught on the fin. New construction, new outline, new sizes going as small as 16cm, this is the new MFC FREEESTYLE PRO developed with the entire team such as the New World Champion Gollito Estredo, the 3 times Freestyle World Champion Ricardo Campello, and the �crazy� Brazilian innovator Kauli Seadi. The outline has a narrow cord and the surface is very small allowing your board to perform all the new double moves on tour. The prepreg construction makes for a very light fin compared to the rest of the materials on the market; this will keep the tail of your board very light under your feet and easy to lift for your freestyle moves. | MFC Goya 211 |
This fin offers a new concept in fin design developed by MFC and Francisco Goya. The material chosen is G-10. The fins are CNC designed and machined by a high precision milling machine. The profile is an evolution of the 2007 model with the maximum draft position moved to 38% due to a thickness increase. In fact this year we had to increase the profile thickness by 0.7mm to allow the G-10 to work in the best way for the best performances in wave riding maneuvers, early planning and upwind performance. This particular model has a unique and distinguished concept where in the bigger sizes the fin becomes straighter in the outline and rake and faster in the profile. The two sizes that we applied this new concept to are the 24cm and 27cm. This fin is ideal for wave and freewave conditions.

This is a weed fin and surf sailing fin rolled into one. Grass and moderate weed conditions will not hold this design back. The concept is a very raked back surf fin. As long as teh wind is at least 12-15 knots, this fin will peform! Freeride boards in the 75-110 liter range are a perfect match.

The BEST choice for an all around weed fin! This fin will shed weeds in all but the most severe weed conditions. This design has a constant rake at 45 degrees. The Power and Tuttle base fins are set forward to approximate the center of area of more traditional upright fins. This forward set is also important so that the tip of the fin does not extend beyond the tail of the board. |

The template is 5 degrees more vertical than the Blade Weed which allows significant performance benefits. The intended use is for moderate-light weed conditions. |
